Narrow video heads provide a beautiful picture with LP mode recordings. Speedy Functions x360 Jet Rewind Tape rewind speed has become even faster. It takes only 1 minute* to rewind a 180 minute tape. Finding desired programs is easier with Intro-jet scan and program list search. (*Depends on tape condition) Intro Jet scan This lets you quickly check what's recorded on a tape. Press the search button, and the beginning of each program is played back in cue mode for 10 seconds in order. When you find the desired program, just press the play button. (* You can use this function on tapes recorded on other VCRs if they include an index signal.) Program list search This handy function enables at-a-glance confirmation of the contents of a tape after timer recording. Just press the search button, and on-screen indications show the channel, date, and time of recording. (*This on screen indication will be lost once the tape is ejected.) Playback-Off Timer This "sleep timer" is convenient when you watch videos in bed. Simply press the play button repeatedly to set the timer. Playback duration/remaining play time is indicated on the VCR. New multi-brand TV compatible remote controller The remote controller of the HD-635/HD-630 lets you operate TV sets of other major TV brands. Channel selection is easy with 10 keys on the remote. Thanks to ergonomically refined design, this new remote fits neatly in the palm of your hand. With the HD-635, setting the VCR for timer recording is also easy by using the G-CODE system.
